Our model

We go deep, not wide.

Most nonprofits fund one bill. We fund family stability—with personalized, comprehensive support that lasts as long as families need it.

What makes us different

We don't assume what families need—we ask.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the financial and emotional weight on a family is immense. Most assistance programs offer one-time grants for a single expense. But one bill doesn't capture the full picture.

We take time to understand each family's complete situation—their housing, transportation, food security, utilities, and emotional wellbeing. Then we build a roadmap of support that addresses the whole picture, for as long as they need it.

We support families during treatment—and through whatever 'after' brings.

Three pillars of support

We stabilize the family so the child can focus on healing.

Our support is built on three pillars—each one essential to keeping families together through treatment and beyond.

01

Stay together, physically.

Treatment often requires families to relocate or travel long distances. We ensure they can stay near care—and near each other—without losing their home or stability back home.

  • Rent and mortgage assistance
  • Temporary housing near treatment centers
  • Transportation to and from appointments
  • Gas cards and vehicle maintenance
  • Relocation support when needed
02

Get through it, mentally.

The emotional toll of pediatric cancer is immense. We provide support from people who truly understand—because our founders have lived it—plus steady presence through the hardest days.

  • Regular check-ins and emotional support
  • Connection with families who've been through it
  • Presence during key moments (diagnosis, procedures, milestones)
  • Resources for siblings and extended family
  • Guidance navigating the healthcare system
03

Build stability for what's next.

Treatment doesn't end with the last dose. We help families plan for—and navigate—whatever comes after, whether that's survivorship, ongoing care, or finding a new normal.

  • Transition planning as treatment evolves
  • Support during survivorship or ongoing care
  • Help rebuilding financial stability
  • Connection to long-term resources
  • Continued relationship, not abandonment

How we work

From first contact to lasting support.

1

We connect

Families are referred by hospital social workers or apply directly. We have a conversation to understand their full situation.

2

We listen

We don't assume. We ask what's keeping them up at night—housing, bills, food, getting to appointments, or just feeling alone.

3

We build a plan

Together, we create a personalized roadmap of support that addresses their specific needs—financial, logistical, and emotional.

4

We show up

We're not a one-time check. We stay in regular contact, adapting our support as their situation evolves.

5

We stay

Even after treatment ends, we don't disappear. We help families transition to whatever comes next—and remain a resource for as long as they need.

"You don't typically get to meet the ones that help—let alone gain a forever family."
