14 Days of Maddy

On the last day of the first annual 14 Days of Maddy, an anonymous donor will be matching gifts up to $10,000! We hope you will join us in celebrating Maddy and all children who have fought cancer today, and every day.

We are celebrating 14 days of Maddy because last year, we spent 14 days out of the hospital, as a family, with Maddy. You can also honor her memory with a donation. We hope to raise $30,000 to start working with our first Madelyn James family that is being selected by social workers at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia).

One of Maddy's favorite things was a bow. She loved how she could show off her style through painful treatments or just at clinic while checking in with her amazing team. When she was receiving radiation, the nurses knew they could count on a new bow each day to look forward to, and a smile from Mads.

Now, Hannah wears a bow every day to honor her sister. It's the first thing she puts on each morning. She pats her head and looks at us and says, "bow?"

That’s why our logo is a bow. It might start as a piece of string with two ends, but when you put them together, it creates an infinity loop that lasts forever - just like Maddy and Hannah’s bond.

This holiday season, honor a friend by sending them a bow. Each day, for 14 days, we’ll send out an email with a word that is special to us and to Maddy. You can forward that word on to a friend that exemplifies that bow to you.
